WEST ALLIS – A 73-year-old West Allis man was killed after being struck by a car while crossing the street in West Allis.
It happened Tuesday just after midnight near the intersection of 103rd Street and Greenfield Avenue (HWY 59).
Police's initial investigation shows the vehicle was traveling westbound on W. Greenfield Ave. when it struck the man in the roadway.
Police say the operator of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with them. Speed and/or alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation. No other information has been released.
