MILWAUKEE -- Passionsattire Mobile Boutique is the only one of it's kind in Milwaukee and offers customers a unique shopping experience.
The owner, Passion Franklin, says she did a lot of research on what kind of store she wanted to open. She says family support is what drover her from starting the business in Little Rock, Arkansas in 2009 to a mobile storefront.
Having your clothes come to you at decent prices is what Franklin has been promoting with her truck since starting the boutique mobile's online buzz back in June.
Franklin says owning a truck is better than owning a physical location," it saves time and it's more convenient for customers. I want to be able to come to them or they can come to me, and I don't have to worry about the overhead."
Watching her social media buzz and hearing from customers, there aren't any complaints about the nomadic store. Customer Jerycka Graves-Sinclaire says loves the idea.
"Mobile is in, it's innovative. You're moving around and you can be whever the customer is. You come to the people instead of them having to come to you," says Graves-Sinclaire.
For Franklin, customer service is top priority, which includes supporting other local businesses.
"I put other women's business cards on the truck. So when other women check out, I put their business cards inside of the bag," says Franklin.
Customers can tell that everything on this truck has purpose. From the positive decor through out the shop, to the shopping baskets, to the dressing room, it's all designed to make customers feel like a store came to them.
Graves-Sinclaire says Passionsattire's body positive clothes and accessories for women for a wide range of women are why many come back.
"I love the clothes that she has. Everything is affordable. So I've been kind of supporting her and buying things from her for about six months," says Graves-Sinclaire.
Passionsattire mobile boutique offers pick-up and drop off services , as well as, private shopping parties.
