MILWAUKEE — Palermo's Pizza has added two gluten-free thin-crust pizzas to their lineup, and they're both available at Woodman’s and Festival Foods now.
The thin-crust gluten-free pizzas are available in two flavors: Cheese, and roasted vegetables.
The Cheese Pizza has a classic Marinara sauce, Mozzarella, White Cheddar, Parmesan, and Romano cheeses. The Roasted Vegetable Pizza has Marinara sauce, red, green, and yellow peppers, red onions, and Mozzarella, Parmesan, and Romano cheeses, Palermo said in a press release Tuesday.
To further address the needs of our consumers, we felt there was an opportunity to create a great tasting gluten-free option under the Palermo’s brand,” said Nick Fallucca, Chief Product & Innovation Officer for Palermo Villa.
Fallucca said the gluten-free thin crust is so similar to the regular thin-crust, that you won't believe it's gluten-free.
The new pizzas are available for a suggested retail price of $6.99 - $7.99 and will be available at more stores in 2021.
