Two people face charges in connection with a robbery at a city of Brookfield bank Saturday.

Police say the employees of Park Bank on Greenfield Avenue were physically forced into the vault and money was taken during the heist shortly after 11 a.m.

Officers followed the suspects' vehicle to the 300 block of N. 29th Street in  Milwaukee where the pair ran into an empty home.

Both of the suspects were arrested shortly afterward. Police say they recovered stolen cash inside their car and inside the house they ran into.

Runny Summerville, 43, was charged with robbery of a financial institution and false imprisonment. Tenisha Ivy, 24, was charged with aiding and abetting the robbery and false imprisonment.

Nobody was injured in the robbery. Both suspects are being held in the Waukesha County Jail.
