TOWN OF PORT WASHINGTON — A 53-year-old man was taken into custody Monday night without further incident after he concealed himself in a room where he had access to several firearms, according to the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office.
At about 8 p.m., the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve a temporary restraining order in the 2800 block of Northwoods Drive.
The subject refused to comply and concealed himself in the room.
The Ozaukee County Metro Special Response Team (SRT) responded. SRT members made contact with the subject inside the residence and took him into custody.
The Saukville Police Department and Port Washington Fire/Rescue also assisted.
