MILWAUKEE — An overnight snow-clearing operation for Milwaukee is in effect Tuesday and Wednesday, according to a release from the Department of Public Works.

This will allow DPW crews to access as much of the street pavement as possible to clear ice and snow effectively and safely.

All residents who park overnight on a Milwaukee street must move their vehicles to the even-numbered side of the street by 11 p.m. Tuesday through 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Residents must move their vehicles again by 11 p.m. Wednesday to the odd-numbered side of the street through Thursday morning.

Parked vehicles should not impede traffic flow in the travel lane. This includes the streetcar route and other city roadways.
