MILWAUKEE — The Oriental Theatre is set to begin the second of its three-phase restoration project.
Starting May 15, the theater will undergo construction as well as improving the building completely.
Some of the changes being implemented include:
- Improved fire alarms and exit doors
- Seats and sightlines
- Sound quality in theaters
- Snack options and concession stand design
While the restoration is ongoing throughout the summer, the Oriental still plans on remaining open and showcasing films.
