MILWAUKEE -- A 35-year-old man was killed when he was hit by a car Tuesday night, police say.
It happened at about 9:10 p.m. in the 2600 block of S. 13th St., near W. Harrison Ave. Police say it appears the victim came out between two parked cars and was hit by a car passing by.
The Milwaukee Fire Department attempted life-saving measures, police say, but the man later died.
The driver of the striking vehicle called the police and stayed on the scene. They are cooperating with the investigation.
The incident will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's office in the coming days for consideration of possible charges.
