One person is dead and two others are injured after a shooting near 54th and Silver Spring Sunday afternoon, according to Milwaukee Police.
Police said it happened around 3:36 p.m. at 54th and Silver Spring.
A 42-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Family told TMJ4 that the victim was a man.
Tyjuan Meredith lives next door to where the shooting happened.
"I was upstairs watching TV and heard gunshots. Then all the police cars started pulling up," Meredith described.
"It's not even hot so I'm really scared what it’s going to be like when it’s actually hot out there."
A 57-year-old victim and 34-year-old man were conveyed to local hospitals and are being treated for serious injuries.
The 34-year-old man was arrested, according to police.
Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
