One person is hospitalized after an apartment fire on Milwaukee's south side Sunday morning.
A Milwaukee Fire Department chief says an occupant of the apartment is being treated for smoke inhalation after the fire broke out in a second-floor apartment in the 2200 block of W. Layton Street.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated as well as estimate of cost in damages.
