The Public Market is getting a groovy new way to serve up plant-based dishes.
A new vendor, On the Bus, opened in the Public Market, offering vegan sandwiches, shakes, smoothies, acai bowls and ice cream, all served in a makeshift Volkswagen bus.
Our partners at the Milwaukee Business Journal reported that Emily Ware, the entrepreneur behind On the Bus, renovated the 1971 bus, which was the first car she ever owned.
On the Bus is located on the south end of the building across from Kehr’s Candies in the former FORM Fine Goods & Floral storefront.
