Off-duty firefighter injured on city's northwest side

MILWAUKEE — An off-duty firefighter was shot on the city's northwest side Monday.

Police say they responded to a report of a shooting in the 4900 block of N. 105th Street. Officers say a 35-year-old Milwaukee man was taken to the hospital.

The Milwaukee Fire Department confirms it was a firefighter, who was off-duty at the time, that was injured. He was shot in the thigh and was treated for minor injuries.

The Milwaukee Police Department is looking for an older model red Toyota 4-door. They're also looking for a suspect, who they believe is for a black male that's 25-years of age and wearing dark clothing.
