A Facebook page called “Oak Creek Fights” which appeared to show students at Oak Creek High School fighting on school property has been taken down.

The Oak Creek - Franklin Joint School District, local police, and parents had been asking the social media giant to take it down since it was discovered last week.

In a statement, District Superintendent Tim Culver said, “It is very disturbing to see children fight, and even more disturbing to have to deal with it as school discipline which results in students' interaction with law enforcement… we have viewed the videos and documented that in every case occurring on school grounds where we could identify the students, the participants have already been suspended or expelled and additionally referred to police for legal consequences.”

The Oak Creek Police Chief told TODAY’s TMJ4 that at least one of the students in the videos has been charged for the fight. It is unclear at this point if those charges will go beyond the city level and to the county prosecutor’s office.
