SHOREWOOD -- Head to Three Lions Pub in Shorewood and have a beer with Sister Monica Fumo.
She is the former principal of Saint Joan Antida High School. All the money raised from Sunday's event will help empower young women who attend the school to believe in themselves and become leaders in our society.
She explains many of the classes offered at the high school count as college credit.
Sister Monica wants people of all religious backgrounds to join her. The best part: It is a No-Run/Walk. Just grab a glass and enjoy!
"It's community building and people need that today. You need to be with people and get away from the tension in our lives," explained Sister Monica.
Registration is 25 dollars. Head to Three Lions Pub Sunday, February 18 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Click here to learn more.
