NEW GLARUS — If you've been to Wisconsin, you know how great Spotted Cow and other New Glarus craft beers are.
According to the Brewers Association, New Glarus Brewing Co. is ranked as the 16th-best craft brewery in the country based on beer sales volume.
There are 160 craft breweries in Wisconsin alone.
Ranking one spot ahead of New Glarus, which sells beer only in Wisconsin, is Minhas Craft Brewery of Monroe, Wis. Coming in at No. 22 is Stevens Point Brewery.
According to the study, craft beer sales in the United States are up 5 percent, share 12.7 percent of total U.S. beer production and produce just under 25 million barrels each year.
