A New Berlin police vehicle was hit during a pursuit Sunday night.
Police Sgt. Jason Chilicki says the pursuit began near Moorland and I-43 about 9:20 p.m. when officers attempted to stop a vehicle for suspicious activity.
At that point the vehicle took off, hit the squad car and then fled the scene at 1st and Mineral.
Police are now searching for the suspect as well as a black BMW.
