Two sisters in New Berlin wanted to take their birthday joy and spread it to children in need.
They teamed up with the New Berlin Fire Department to help distribute stuffed animals last week to children in the emergency room of the Moorland Reserve Health Center.
"I thought it would be really nice that they can have something really cute to snuggle with when they are feeling hurt and they are feeling really bad," said 9-year-old Jenna Walter.
They didn't want any of the patients to know they were behind their gifts, so firefighters helped the girls out.
“It helps them feel better that someone cares about them and they might not think they're alone,” Jenna said.
