MILWAUKEE- NBC'S new show Strong premiered tonight and a Milwaukee trainer ends up on top.  Thousands applied and Milwaukee trainer Adam Von Rothfelder was one of ten trainers chosen to be part of the show.

"When I was living in LA I auditioned for the Biggest Loser and that was like seven years ago now.  And when I moved back to Wisconsin I got asked to audition again and then again and they just kept on passing me over," explained Adam Von Rothfelder.

Producers thought Adam was perfect for this competition.

"I knew from the get go that it was a game and that it had to be played and yah know, I did what I had to do for me and my teammate."

Adam opens up about his dad's death and losing his brother to drug overdose.

"It feels amazing being able to share my story and hope that people can relate with me," said Von Rothfelder.

Adam has no regrets.

"I wanted to believe that we are all going to be friends, but the reality was there's a half a million dollars here and my teammate is the most important thing in this competition and I need to do whatever it takes to win."

Adam owns CoMo in Walker's Point.  To learn more about the gym visit http://comonation.com/

The next episode of Strong is Thursday at 7 p.m. on TMJ4.
