The Muskego Police Department now allows residents to use the department’s lobby as a safe space for online-initiated exchanges.
Guests can conduct their online buying and selling in the lobby, which is recorded to give users the safety of having footage of any transactions made at the facility.
Muskego police made the announcement on its Facebook page Wednesday.
The practice is not foreign to Southeast Wisconsin. Waukesha Police set up a similar space last spring.
