MUSKEGO -- Hundreds of brave souls plunged into 34-degree waters at Muskego Park.

Our weather Sunday made it even more of a challenge to keep everyone safe in the icy waters. There's something first responders asked jumpers not to do that made this year much safer.

"We've had repeat plungers where they plunge, and they wanna plunge again. With these temperatures we want them to get out of the water and get in our tent where its heated," said Jim Abramczyk, Tess Corners Firefighter.

TODAY'S TMJ4 Live at Daybreak Anchor Vince Vitrano helped emcee  this plunge.

It is one of 14 that serves as the largest fundraiser of the year for Special Olympics of Wisconsin. All of the money raised stays local to help athletes and their families.
