MILWAUKEE — Police Chief Alfonso Morales and MPS Superintendent Keith Posley joined forces to create a video explaining how kids can have fun this summer while staying safe.
This is something you never though you would see, Chief Morales and Superintendent Posley facing off in a race. However, they did it for a good cause.
With warm temperatures on the way and summer almost here, kids are going to be looking for ways to get outdoors and have fun. However, COVID-19 has put a limit on some of these activities.
Morales and Posley came together to share ways you can take part in similar activities while staying safe. In Milwaukee, contact sports are still off limits unless the people you play with are form your household. However, there's ways to get together and play without breaking the rules.
One example is basketball. With the current rules, you can't play a game with your friends, but you can still get together and play a game of horse (as long as everyone has their own ball).
This is just one of the ways kids can get out and have fun with friends. Chief Morales and Superintendent Posley give even more ideas in their video which you can watch below.
