MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating suspects wanted in a strong-armed robbery and auto theft in the 2100 block of West Burleigh Street at about 9:07 p.m. July 28.
The victim was parked at the location when Suspect No. 1 and No. 2 approached the vehicle.
Suspect No. 1 forced the victim out of the vehicle as Suspect No. 2 took the victim’s book bag and keys, according to police. The victim was able to fight off the suspects and reenter the vehicle, causing the suspects to flee.
The suspects then took a different vehicle that belonged to the victim that was parked in the area, police said in a news release. Taken was the victim’s book bag, keys and a black 2018 Kia Forte four-door sedan, with Wisconsin license plate 173-WJA.
Suspect No. 1 is identified as a black male with a light skin complexion, 16 to 18 years old, 5 feet, 5 inches to 5-7, about 140 pounds, stocky build. The suspect has a faded hairstyle with twists. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with blue jeans.
Suspect No. 2 is identified as a black male with a dark skin complexion, 16 to 18 years old, 5 feet to 5-2, about 110 pounds, skinny build. The suspect has a low-cut hairstyle. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black jogging pants with a green and red strip down the side.
There were three other suspects described by the victim who were identified as black males ages 16 to 18.
