MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a shooting, armed robbery, and carjacking Tuesday evening.
Police say it happened shortly after 7:00 p.m. in the 6100 block of W. Spencer Place. Officers say a 28-year-old Milwaukee man was shot and is recovering at a local hospital.
During the robbery and carjacking, the suspect took the victim’s black 2017 Nissan Sentra 4-door with the Wisconsin license plate 737-YBP.
Police also say a 2-year-old boy from Milwaukee was in the backseat of the vehicle. The boy has since been recovered and unharmed.
The Milwaukee Police Department is now seeking a known suspect as well as the vehicle.
