More than 5,200 We Energies customers were without power as of 8:15 a.m. Thursday.
In Walworth County, more than 3,000 people were without electricity, and about 1,800 Waukesha County residents were without power.
The causes of the outages have not been determined, but ice was prevalent throughout the region.
