More than 18,500 without power after storms move through

More than 18,500 people were without power about 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to We Energies.

More than 2,700 people were without electricity in Waukesha, and more than 1,800 people were without power in Menomonee Falls. Nearly 2,300 residents were in the dark in Union Grove.

About 1,400 people were without power in Dover, and about 1,700 residents were without electricity in Pewaukee.

Roughly 1,000 people were without power in New Berlin.

Severe thunderstorms were moving through the Milwaukee area Tuesday afternoon, causing minor damage and reports of trees down in the region.
