Milwaukee has been ranked in a list for the top 25 Most Romantic Cities in America.
According to OpenTable, an online reservation service, Milwaukee is sitting pretty at number three.
The company calculated the data using three variables:
- The percentage of restaurants rated “romantic” according to OpenTable diner reviews
- The percentage of tables seated for two
- The percentage of people who dined out for Valentine’s Day last year
In a press release issued Thursday, reps at OpenTable said food trends may come and go, but their data indicates that Americans continue to have an appetite for romantic dining.
The top 25 are as follows:

3. Milwaukee, Wisconsin
4. Atlantic City, New Jersey
5. Santa Fe, New Mexico
6. Birmingham, Alabama
7. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
