A body found in in a Sauk County casino parking lot turned out to be a man missing from the Town of Delton, and a law enforcement is searching for a possible suspect.

The body was found in the Ho-Chunk Casino parking lot Monday afternoon, after the man was reported missing earlier that day.

The Sauk County Sheriff said that the man was found in a car in the parking lot behind the casino after 1 p.m. The sheriff’s office ruled the death a homicide.

Ho-Chunk Gaming released a statement about the man’s death, stating he was in his 80s.

"Our prayers and thoughts are with the family of the person involved," Ho-Chunk said in the statement. "Aggressive steps have been taken to ensure the safety of our team members and guests while the investigation continues."
