RACINE COUNTY, Wis. -- A missing four-year-old boy was found dead in Browns Lake near Burlington Monday evening.
According to a Racine County Sheriff's Office news release, the boy’s body was found near the pier at Fisher Park by a park patron.
The boy had reportedly been staying with a caregiver along with his brother, sister and several other children. The boy’s parents are from Racine.
Investigators said it appears to be a drowning but the cause of death is still under investigation.
Authorities are not releasing the victim's name at this time.
