MILWAUKEE -- A 15-year-old Milwaukee boy who was reported missing on May 11 has been found dead, according to his mother.
Dennis King's body was found Sunday near 12th Street and West Keefe Avenue, not far from where he'd reportedly last been seen.
"I just can’t believe this happened to my baby," said Dombanee Lincoln, the victim's mother. "He didn’t deserve this. He didn’t. He was a good kid."
Police issued a missing person's alert for King on Saturday. Sunday, police said the search for the teen had been called off.
King was a freshman at James Madison High School.
Family members said the teen was beaten to death and several people were arrested in the case.
Milwaukee Police have not confirmed any arrest have been made.
