DELAFIELD -- Police in Delafield need your help to find a missing 17-year-old boy.

Jeremy Shanklin was last seen at his home in the 2200 block of Genesee St. in Delafield at about 9:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. He was supposed to report to the Northern Wisconsin Center Excel program in Chippewa Falls, but didn't show up. A court date of Friday, August 12 had previously been scheduled.

Shanklin was last seen wearing a black short-sleeved t-shirt, camouflage cargo shorts, and black shoes with red accents. Police say he has a scar on his right forearm, and a recent burn on his left calf from a motorcycle muffler.

Police say they entered Shanklin's case as endangered because he is currently without the medication that treats his ADHD and bipolar disorder, and because he failed to report to his program in Chippewa Falls.

We'll update this story as we learn more.
