A missing 76-year-old man was found dead Thursday near the corner of 73th Street and Douglas Avenue.
JL Lindsey was reported missing two weeks ago, last seen on May 24. Police responded to a body found near the same area Thursday.
A Silver Alert had been lifted earlier Friday, saying Lindsey was “located,” but did not speak to his condition.
His last known location was on the city’s northwest side near the corner of Bender Avenue and 80th Street.
