MILWAUKEE -- A Milwaukee woman won a $1.6 million jackpot at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino Thursday night, Potawatomi announced Friday.
The guest, who the casino says wishes to remain anonymous, struck it big while playing a $1 Wheel of Fortune machine just after 6:00 p.m. Thursday.
Believe it or not, that's still not the biggest jackpot Potawatomi has ever handed out. Back in 2010, a Milwaukee man won $2.7 million on a $5 Wheel of Fortune machine.
Wisconsinites have had a good time in casinos lately. A Wisconsin woman won a $1.45 million jackpot at the Golden Gate hotel-casino in Las Vegas earlier this month, the largest the casino has ever paid out.
