A Milwaukee woman is dead after police say her car veered into traffic Tuesday morning.
It happened at around 7 a.m. in the 4600 block of W. Burleigh Street.
Police say the 42-year-old victim was driving her vehicle west when she veered into the opposite lane and struck a vehicle being driven by a Milwaukee woman.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman in the car that was hit was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The victim's identity was not released.
