MILWAUKEE — The body of a 40-year-old Milwaukee woman was discovered near 22nd and Locust around 5 p.m. on Monday.
Milwaukee police say she was pronounced dead at the scene. Police continue to investigate the homicide.
Police are seeking unknown suspects.
The victim's name is Kenita Sanders, according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.
A watch commander's report from Milwaukee police states a 45-year-old Milwaukee woman's body was found in a garbage can at that location. Police reported the husband of the woman is the suspect. Police did not address the age difference.
