MILWAUKEE — Winter parking regulations in Milwaukee are being extended until March 15 because of this season's "harsh winter weather conditions," the DPW said in a news release Friday.
The extension applies to streets that are posted with “No Parking Dec. 1 – Mar 1” signs.
“This extension is to ensure safety on those narrow streets which allow two-sided parking during traditionally non-winter weather months,” the DPW said in the release.
Failure to comply with these parking regulations will result in a $35 citation, and vehicles might be towed.
All vehicles need a valid parking permit to park during overnight hours on Milwaukee streets.
