MILWAUKEE -- A job fair for positions with the new Milwaukee Streetcar is set for Wednesday, May 2 at the maintenance facility on North 5th Street.
The operator of the city's new streetcar, The Hop, is looking to fill more than 20 positions, including 14 streetcar operator jobs, from noon until 4 p.m. While transit or commercial driving experience is preferred for the operator position, it is not required. Starting salaries for the available positions range from $40,000 to $65,000.
Due to limited space in the facility, only four people will be allowed inside at a time. Applicants are encouraged to dress for the weather, but the suggested attire is business or business casual.
If time runs out for initial interviews, the remaining applicants will be called back next week.
