MILWAUKEE — A small business owner in Milwaukee is now $82,000 richer after she won the Badger 5 jackpot.
The woman and her husband are longtime Badger 5 players and business owners. Now, they're also lottery winners.
The lucky winner purchased a Badger 5 lottery ticket from a CVS store on North Downer Avenue in Milwaukee prior to the Aug. 27 drawing. Little did she know she would end up winning.
The Wisconsin Lottery announced Tuesday that the woman had won the $82,000 jackpot, and is planning to put all her winnings towards her business, a bakery in the area.
However, she isn't the only one walking away with money from this drawing. The CVS store will also receive a $1,640 incentive for selling the ticket.
