MKE station switches to 24-hour Christmas tunes

Posted

The first snowfall of the season coincides with the first Milwaukee station to begin 24-hour Christmas music.

WRIT-FM 95.7 flipped the switch on the Christmas programming on Thursday night.

The switch coincides with the holiday lighting in downtown Milwaukee.

If it all feels a little early, consider that it's actually a bit later than usual. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal, two stations went to all-Christmas programming on Nov. 1 last year.
