MILWAUKEE -- An 18-year-old woman was killed and five others were injured in a Milwaukee car crash Saturday.
The crash happened just before 8 p.m. at the corner of Teutonia and Silver Spring.
According to Milwaukee Police, the driver -- an 18-year-old woman -- of a 4-door car was traveling southbound on Teutonia and lost control of her car. The car struck a tree and then an apartment building.
Police say a 18-year-old woman -- who was a passenger in the car -- was severely injured in the accident and died at the scene.
Four other passengers and the driver of the car were transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries. The four injured passengers were two 19-year-old men, a 20-year-old woman, and a 19-year-old woman.
Police say their investigation is ongoing and have not released any other information.
