MILWAUKEE -- A 66-year-old man was shot and injured during an attempted robbery Tuesday morning on Milwaukee's northwest side.
It happened in the 7800 block of W. Beckett Avenue around 5 a.m.
Police say an unknown suspect demanded money from the victim, shot him, then fled the scene.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Milwaukee police are still looking for the suspect.
