Amber Alert canceled for missing 8-year-old Milwaukee girl

UPDATE: The Amber Alert issued for missing 8-year-old Naveah Martin was canceled at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday.
 
Milwaukee police say both Naveah Martin and her mother, Jasmine Martin-Williams, have been located and are safe. 
 
Police thank the public for their assistance.

MILWAUKEE --  An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 8-year-old Milwaukee girl who was last seen with her mother. The girl is believed to be in extreme danger.
 
According to police, the mother, Jasmine Martin-Williams left her residence near 38th and Concordia with her 8-year-old daughter, Naveah Martin, at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
 
Martin-Williams has threatened harm to herself and her child.  
 
Jasmine Martin-Williams is described as a 29-year-old black female, 5’04”, 140, slim build, medium complexion , wearing yellow shorts, black baseball cap, and a t-shirt.
 
Her daughter, Naveah, is described as  8-year-old girl 4’00”, 60 pounds, wearing blue flowery pajamas.
