Milwaukee Police searching for bank robbery suspect

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is looking for help identifying a suspect caught on camera who robbed the Associated Bank on 27th Street on Wednesday.

Police were called to the 3400 block of South 27th Street at about 5:10 p.m.

The suspect approached the teller window, showing a note implying that he was armed with a weapon. After obtaining money from the teller, the suspect fled eastbound from the bank, authorities said.

The suspect is described as a black male, 30-35 years old, 5 feet, 9 inches and clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a gray-and-green Hornets basketball cap, black sunglasses, a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
