Milwauke Police need help finding robbers

Milwaukee Police are asking for the public to help identify a man they believe is responsible for the robbery of Tri City National Bank.

The branch located on the 7500 block of W. Oklahoma Avenue was robbed Tuesday, May 31, around 5 p.m.

"The suspect entered the bank, demanded and received money and fled the area on foot.  The investigation is ongoing and MPD continues to seek the suspect," officials said in a written statement. 

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’8” to 5’9” tall, weighing approximately 220 pounds.

He is between 30-40 years old, with a bushy eyebrows, and wearing a red/white Miami Heat Baseball cap with a pirate bandana and suspected wig underneath, sunglasses, a black Henley style three button collarless shirt with white writing on the left chest area, blue jeans with white accents on the rear pocket, and black or gray shoes with white accent piping around the top of the sole, police said. 

In a second and unrelated incident, Milwaukee Police are asking for the public to help identify a suspect involved in an armed robbery of the Batteries Plus, located at on the 8300 Block of  N. 76th Street.

That robbery occurred Tuesday, May 31, around 7:30 p.m. 

Police say man the entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the employees.  He received money and fled the area on foot.  The investigation is ongoing and MPD continues to seek the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’5” to 5’8” tall, weighing approximately 135-165 pounds. He is 25-35 year old, with a beard.

He was wearing a black ball cap, sunglasses, blue jean jacket with leather epaulets on the shoulders ,and a design or logo on the upper middle back, and dark pants armed with a semiautomatic handgun.
