Milwaukee police looking for suspect who stole from a closed business while armed with a hammer

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in a burglary on Wednesday.

According to police, a suspect broke into a closed business and stole items. The incident occurred between 11 p.m. on Wednesday, and 3 a.m. on Thursday in the 7100 block of W. Lisbon Ave.

The suspect is described as a male that's 6-feet tall and around 200 pounds. He has medium complexion, a mustache, and shoulder length dreadlocks.

At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a Nike logo on the left breast. He had black pants, black shoes, and was armed with a hammer.
