MILWAUKEE -- Police and the Medical Examiner are investigating the death of a 2-week-old boy on the city's north side.
The death was reported at a home in the 4600 block of N. 50th Street around 4:15 a.m. Monday.
According to Milwaukee Police, the infant was found unresponsive and life-saving measures were attempted but those efforts were unsuccessful and the child died on scene.
Police say the investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident is ongoing.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
