Milwaukee police investigate 6 overnight shootings that left 11 injured

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating six shootings that happened overnight and left 11 people injured.

The first shooting occurred around 9:27 p.m. in the 2700 block of N. 27th St. The victim was a 59-year-old male who suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

At 10:19 p.m., the police department responded to their second shooting of the night in the 3600 block of N. 15th St. This shooting left three people injured.

The victims were a 28-year-old male, a 16-year-old male, and a 25-year-old female. All three victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The third shooting came around 11 p.m. in the 2600 block of W. Lisbon Ave. The victim was a 19-year-old male who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

At 12 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the fourth shooting. It occurred in the 400 block of W. Washington St. A 24-year-old suffered non-life-threatening injuries in connection to this incident.

Around 12:20 a.m., police got a call for a shooting that left four people injured. It occurred in the 5800 block of W. Hope Ave. and left three people with non-life-threatening injuries, and one with serious life-threatening injuries.

The victims with non-life-threatening injuries were a 21-year-old male, a 19-year-old female, and another 21-year-old male. It was a 23-year-old male who suffered serious injuries.

The final shooting occurred in the 3800 block of W. Galena St. around 1:50 a.m. The victim was a 22-year-old male who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
