MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Police were called to a suspicious package that was found near Purple Door Ice Cream in the Walker's Point neighborhood.
The package was found around 9 p.m -- near the intersection of 2nd Street and Fresh Water Way.
Members from the Milwaukee Hazardous Device Unit responded to the scene to investigate the package.
After a thorough examination, the package was revealed to be an everyday item and was not suspicious or dangerous.
Police have not released any other information at this time.
