Two men were taken into custody after a four hour stand off with Milwaukee police.
It happened at 51st Street and Capitol Driver around 11 p.m. Tuesday.
Police found the men asleep inside a stolen car. A handgun was in plain view and within close proximity to one of the occupants. As a precaution, officers from the Tactical Enforcement Unit were deployed to the situation.
Eventually both subjects were taken into custody around 3 a.m. Wednesday. A second handgun was located inside the vehicle.
Police say their investigation is ongoing.
