MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Police say an 8-year-old girl was taken to the hospital after what appears to be a BB pellet was shot into a school bus.
It happened around 7 a.m. Tuesday -- near the 4100 block of W. Hadley Street.
According to police, the pellet struck a window, and the glass subsequently struck the girl.
She was transported to an area hospital for a non-life threatening injury.
Police say their investigation is ongoing -- and have not released any other information at this time.
