Milwaukee Police: 1 dead, 1 injured in 2 separate Tuesday evening shootings

MILWAUKEE – Two separate shootings leave one man dead and another man injured in Milwaukee Tuesday evening.

 The first shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 4900 Block of N. 53rd Street. Milwaukee Police say a 45-year-old man was shot during a confrontation that took place inside of a house. Despite life-saving measures by the Milwaukee Fire Department, the man died at the scene. Police say their investigation is ongoing and are still looking for the suspect.

The second shooting happened around 11:45 p.m. in the 200 block of N. 35th Street. Milwaukee Police say they were called to a shooting – and found a 37-year-old man injured with a gunshot wound. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation. The Milwaukee Fire Department transported the victim to a local hospital where he is being treated.
